Product Details

The 1964 $0.10 Franklin D. Roosevelt Silver coin is a commemorative coin that was released in honor of the 32nd President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt. This coin was minted in 1964, the same year that Roosevelt's successor, Lyndon B. Johnson, signed the Coinage Act, which eliminated silver from the dime and quarter.

The front of the coin features a portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, facing left. The words "In God We Trust" are printed to the right of his image, and above his portrait is the inscription "Liberty". The year of minting is displayed below his image.

The reverse side of the coin displays an olive branch, a torch, and an oak leaf branch. The words "United States of America" and "E Pluribus Unum" are printed along the top and bottom of the coin, respectively. Also engraved on the reverse side is the coin's denomination--"One Dime"--and the mint mark "D" to denote it was minted in Denver. Overall, this coin is a historical commemoration of a significant era in United States history and a must-have for any coin collector.
